Available at the bookstore for $12 before Dec. 23rd and then $15 after that date

This innovative album has taken two years to produce and showcases the creativity of MacEwan’s faculty, students, and alumni. In this CD set of 22 songs, half feature more contemporary/popular compositions such as rock, pop, and electronic, while the rest present jazz/fusion arrangements and original compositions.

Highlighted within this CD is an original work by MacEwan’s Head of Composition, Allan Gilliland, entitled MacEwan Suite. This set of four songs was written specifically to feature the Big Band, Guitar Band, Percussion Ensemble, and Showcase Band that form the backbone of the MacEwan Music program.

Song From My Heart, the fifth CD to be released by MacEwan’s Music program, will be available for sale just in time for the holidays at MacEwan's bookstore as of December 2009.
