Grant MacEwan University is recruiting for several Customer Service Clerk I to provide superior customer service at Bookstores at City Centre Campus, South Campus, Centre for the Arts and Alberta College. We are looking for positive, energetic people who enjoy working with others in a busy, high-pressure environment. This position is responsible for customer service; cash register sales; stocking; assistance with merchandising; and basic computer and office duties. These are temporary casual, hourly positions beginning mid to late August 2010.
Applicants must possess a Grade 12 Diploma, as well as a minimum of 6 months experience in a customer service environment. Candidates should also have experience utilizing cash terminals and proper cash handling.
Excellent customer service skills as well as strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential to this position. The successful applicants must be physically capable of lifting and moving boxes of supplies up to 50 lbs. The successful applicants must also be able to work flexible shifts.

Convenience Stores - Customer Service Clerks
Grant MacEwan University is recruiting for several Customer Service Clerk I to provide superior customer service at Campus Convenience and Residence Convenience Store. We are looking for positive, energetic people who enjoy working with others in a busy, high-pressure environment. This position is responsible for customer service; cash register sales; stocking; assistance with merchandising and counting of inventory; and basic computer and office duties. These are casual, part-time, hourly positions with an average of 10 hours per week and a max of 17.5 hours per week, beginning mid to late August 2010.
Applicants must possess a Grade 12 Diploma, as well as a minimum of 6 months experience in a customer service environment. Candidates should also have experience utilizing cash terminals and proper cash handling.
Excellent customer service skills as well as strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential to this position. The successful applicants must be physically capable of lifting and moving boxes of supplies up to 50 lbs. The successful applicants must also be able to work flexible shifts which vary from early morning to late evening, with limited weekend availability.
